The 2024 VBA Summer business meeting minutes and meeting summary are now posted on the VBA website. The summary includes all of the presenters' PowerPoints.
Dr. Samantha Alger was recognized at the 2024 VBA Beekeeper of the Year for her outstanding work on founding and developing the Vermont Bee Lab and its ever-growing science-based program of work. She also founded and leads the Vermont Pollinator Working Group which is the watchdog group for issues that can adversely affect pollinator health in Vermont.

At the meeting, the members approved the 2024-2025 proposed budget.
They also elected the following people to the VBA Board of Directors:
- For President, Jeff Battaglini (incumbent)
- For Vice President – Bianca Braman (incumbent)
- For Treasurer – Richard Roy (incumbent)
- For Membership Secretary – Mary Stoddard
- For Recording Secretary – Fred Putnam, Jr. (incumbent)
- For Director at Large – James Key (incumbent)
