I'm writing to see if anyone knows of beekeeper(s) in or near the Northeast Kingdom?
I've tried off and on for years to get the skinny about getting certified. How to take the test to start the process and so forth. In emailing B. Mares recently was told any certified beekeeper can administer the written exam. So now I'm looking for one relatively close to me. We beekeepers up North just don't get to Burlington area and certainly don't go to Southern Vermont. Somewhat secluded from meetings and the like where one could take the exam or participate in VBA activities.
I'm willing to travel to become perhaps the only certified beekeeper up here. Then I could aid others in this area to be accredited more easily. Really need help in this first step. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought I had responded to this message but maybe I didn't....I'm in Montpelier if you are able to come there to take the test. It's not the NEK, but it's close.

We have a certification program that people can not get certified in?
I realize the bulk of members are Champlain Valley and Southern Vermont but there must be somebody within a hour drive of NEK that can administer the test.
Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you.
