I was given a copy of Better Queens by Jay Smith for Christmas. When I asked for it I did not know it was written in 1949. Good advice on rearing Queens but perhaps there are new and different techniques. Anyway, I thought it whimsical that he made this statement, " I learned that should I ask a dozen men a question I might get a dozen different answers, while if I asked the bee a question I got just one answer, and that the correct one". Something to think about...!!!! Come on Spring.... Peter.

Or, as Brother Adam would say, "Let the bees tell you".

Queen rearing challenges your abilities and broadens your passion for more knowledge in the bee world. Have fun with it!
