Sunny and reasonably warm today. Lots of activity. I noticed a number of bees coming in with bright orange pollen. I do see some dandelions blooming in the lawn. I'm guessing that must be where it is coming from. Anyone else seeing pollen coming in?
Saw pollen coming in last Sunday around the St Albans area when we wrapped the hives for winter. Also, witnessed robbing of one of the hives. Ugh!
More pollen yesterday. Mostly orange...saw both goldenrod and dandelion blooming, but no bees on either.
Yes! I was excited to see busy bees bringing pollen in too! First winter beekeeping and I'm happy to see them on such a beautiful day.
