In Winter a beekeeper can put his bees to bed and finally have time for his/her garden.
Just thought I would post a thread for anybody who wants to ask about or talk about their Winter preparations. Feeding, final mite treatments, wrapping, looking for Christmas presents in the BetterBee catalog (I hope to find a new bee jacket under the tree this year), etc.

Yes the season is coming to a close as winter will soon be here , however still a lot to do in the next
Month ,I'm feeding a couple colonies, Still need to do my post varroa mite counts.
Checking to see what I will need to build for wood ware for next season .winter is a great time
To get things ready for next year.
Will need to wrap hives late October.
