Interested in strengthening your voice as a beekeeper and advocating for policies that support pollinators, beekeeping, and healthy ecosystems? Join us for a virtual Women in Beekeeping (WiB) workshop featuringAnna Seuberling from the Vermont Public Interest Research Group (VPIRG). This event will focus on practical advocacy skills, understanding key legislative activities, and learning how to make your personal message resonate. Stay afterward for an open Q&A session with Anna Seuberling. The workshop is free and open to all VBA members. All genders are welcome to attend and participate.

- An overview of the Neonicotinoid campaign and the current status of Act 182
- General advocacy principles and how to navigate policy conversations
- How to craft compelling messages—including a breakout activity to develop your own story
- Effective ways to “build a buzz,” from writing op-eds to engaging your community
